The structure is divided into sections numbered 101 to 254 and today accommodates approximately 48,000 spectators. Seating in the main grandstand is stadium-style, offering both lower and upper levels. The lower sections bring fans closer to the track, where the roar of the engines and the speed of the cars are most intense. The upper sections provide a wider, more panoramic perspective, allowing spectators to follow the field through much of the tri-oval and into the turns.
