The Main Grandstand at Kansas Speedway stretches along the entire front stretch of the trioval. Its curved design gives spectators clear views of the start/finish line, pit road, and the action into Turn 1.

Main Grandstand

Kansas Speedway features a single, sweeping grandstand that curves along the entire front stretch of the tri-oval. The structure is divided into sections numbered 101 to 254 and today accommodates approximately 48,000 spectators. Its design ensures that fans across all sections have a direct view of the start/finish line, pit road, and the intense action heading into Turn 1.

Seating in the main grandstand is stadium-style, offering both lower and upper levels. The lower sections bring fans closer to the track, where the roar of the engines and the speed of the cars are most intense. The upper sections provide a wider, more panoramic perspective, allowing spectators to follow the field through much of the tri-oval and into the turns. The grandstand’s curved layout makes sightlines consistent and clear across nearly every seat.

The main grandstand also includes modern amenities for spectator comfort, such as wide concourses, restrooms, and concession stands located behind the seating areas. Most sections are bench-style seating with backs, though premium areas may offer additional comfort. Accessibility is built into the design, with ADA seating options integrated across several sections, ensuring that all fans can enjoy the race day experience.
