A trip to Kansas Speedway is about more than just the racing on track. Alongside the roar of engines and the drama of competition, the circuit offers fan zones that bring visitors closer to the sport and create a lively atmosphere throughout the weekend. From behind-the-scenes access in the infield to a festival setting outside the grandstands, these areas make the race day experience more interactive and memorable.
Kansas Speedway gives its visitors more than just the view from the grandstands. The most unique experience is the Cabo Wabo Tequila FanWalk, set right in the infield between the garages. This area requires an additional ticket (Pre-Race Pass) on top of a regular grandstand admission, but it is the place where fans can get truly close to the sport. You can stroll through the infield, watch the teams at work in the garages, stand in Victory Lane before the race, and enjoy different interactive activities.
On selected weekends, there are autograph sessions or Q&A opportunities with drivers, making the FanWalk one of the most personal ways to connect with NASCAR. The pass is available on most race days, with the exception of the main Cup Series race day itself.
The atmosphere outside the oval is just as lively. Behind the main grandstand stretches the general fan zone, which can be accessed with a standard grandstand ticket. This area feels like a small festival, with food and drink stalls, merchandise stands, live music, and fun activities for all ages. It is a natural meeting point before the race, a place to relax, explore, and soak up the atmosphere before heading to your seat for the green flag.
